Born in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India Swati was
encouraged as a child to pursue her inclination
for art when she stood first in All India
Camel Color Contest in 1984 & 1985.
While being a merit holder in graduation,
Swati topped her masters´ in drawing
and painting & was a gold medalist. She
was awarded by Rajasthan Lalit Kala
Academy in the year 1996. She won the
first prize in poster Competition held
by R.N.T. Medical College in 1997.
The artist was invited by the west zone
cultural centre to attend a workshop at
Goa in 1997. She has taken part in
group shows and her works are part of
several private collections in india and
abroad. Swati is a qualified lecturer.
She has presently devoted herself
entirely to her art.
